GenreCon Schedule 2017

Here is my speaking schedule for this year’s GenreCon!

Come find me at any of these panels, which I am certain will have Q&A sessions. There’s no planned autograph sessions on the schedule, so feel free to come up to me whenever you see me if you’d like – I’m always open for a chat and a chance to shake hands and sign books.

Please be aware that you will have to bring your own books for signing.

(There is a Chapters in the mall across the road that can order books in for you, if you call them ASAP. Also, MythHawker will be in attendance at the Con, though I haven’t heard whether anyone from the con has given them a list of authors in attendance.)

Little Women

It’s been a hard few months, and a busy two weeks, but my time as Marmee in the Elora Community Theatre’s production of “Little Women” has come and gone. It was ‘just capital’ to return to the stage for the first time in a decade!

Aurora Award Nominations Are Now Open

Rev-logo-banner1

Good morning, my nerdlings! The Aurora Awards are now open for nominations. The Aurora’s are the Canadian Prize for excellence in SF/F, and the nominations must come from Canadian fans and readers. Historically, a work must be nominated over five times for it to be considered by the jury for the shortlist.

If you are Canadian, and have $10 to join the CSFFA, you are eligible to nominate and, once the short list is posted, to receive FREE BOOKS and stories and VOTE. (Yes, that’s right. They give you FREE BOOKS and STORIES to read)

Important Links

  • Firstly, join the CSFFA for $10.  I know, I’m asking you to spend money. BUT, for that $10 you get to nominate AND vote! Which means you get the Voter’s Package (over ten novels, short stories, graphic novels, essays, scripts, and poems) FOR FREE. That’s a buck a novel and then some.
