As I mentioned yesterday, one of the great ways to build buzz for your books is to have a book trailer. It doesn’t have to be spectacular, but it has to attract attention and make people think, or at least want to take a look at the book. I have one, but it’s not ready to be released yet – however, my behind the scenes photographer did send me about half of the shots today. (The other half are still being developed because she uses real film.Cool!)
Here are the least-spoilery ones. Enjoy!
The Director, Conal MacBeth, takes a moment to review the script…
…while the Author sits on the portch with the junkmail to distract herself.
The cast take a breather and keep their eyes peeled for the pizza delivery van.
Clean up required. Oh dear.
The Author and the Corpse, pre-corpsifying. Chris goes: “Do I have to? That blood is all sweet and sticky.” Me: “Uhhh… director!”
Ashley and Ken pause for a bit of air. I don’t think it’s fair that Ashley looks better in my jacket than I do.
Also, I’ve realized that this push to get 30 000 words by October 1st (15 600 as of today!) has made my fingers cease to function properly, so if you find some typos in my posts, please forgive me and I apologize. I think I’ve got most of them.
